In December of 2004 my friend Jen Luna was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer (Medullary Thyroid Carcinoma) for which there is currently no treatment. She has been on disability since March of 2007 and has been getting progressively worse. She and her husband are looking to have her treated at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America because they have a very high success rate but it’s not covered by Insurance and it is very expensive. They would really like for her to get this treatment but they cannot afford it. PLEASE come to the November 13th benefit or make a donation and help save her life.

To purchase tickets for the November 13th Texas-Hold Em Benefit please CLICK HERE. Tickets are $20 each.

The benefit is Saturday, November 13th from 7:00 – 11:00 PM at Southside Firehouse in Oceanside (3615 Oceanside Rd.) It will consist of four hours of beer pong, karaoke, dancing, a Texas Hold-Em tournament and hanging out with great people. There will also be ziti and lots of appetizers. At the door we will have a list of online contributors which we will reference in lieu of tickets however for your comfort, you can print out your receipt of payment and show that as your ticket. **Tickets can also be purchased at the door for $30.

Drinks can be purchased for $4 with $1 to benefit the charity. The buy in for the Texas Hold Em tournament is $50 with 1/2 to benefit the charity, and 1/2 awarded to the winner.
